Let me introduce myself, my name is Matt, and I’m a food photographer based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK.
I’ve always loved photography and have taught myself the craft over many years of practising, reading books and online tutorials and watching YouTube tutorials. I love the fact that there is always more to learn and room to improve and refine.
I’ve been fortunate to gain experience in a wide variety of photographic genres including weddings and corporate events, headshots and portraits, interior and marketing photography. This has enabled me to travel to destinations throughout the UK and Europe.
My love for food led me to my true passion of food photography. Ever since picking up my first recipe book and salivating over the beautiful imagery, I’ve wanted to be able to capture food in it’s best possible light. I now try and ensure those same feelings of hunger and desire are present in my images today and I am fortunate to be able to serve the photographic needs of smaller local businesses across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey.
One of the great beauties of food photography is being witness to the huge variety that food and drink can offer. It fascinates me how even the same ingredients can be prepared in so many different ways and can produce very different outcomes. I have been fortunate to shoot (and taste) a huge variety of dishes. I will always relish the chance to shoot new cuisines in different environments and will never turn down the opportunity to sample a new cuisine.
